Updated social media timeline Klaxon!
I do like to stay on top of the social channels that come and go, and a part of that is to speak to my friends who work for big social media marketing companies and getting the inside knowledge on what platforms launched, failed, and what’s happening elsewhere.
For this update (June 2019), there’s not much in the way of new apps, but you will see TikTok and and Vero there, but they are back in the years they were launched, not in the years they became popular (who’d heard of TikTok in 2016? Okay, probably lots of people).
I also added in the big ones from China and Russia, for good measure. Enjoy; and, as ever, if you want a high-res version let me know. Happy to share as long as you credit it.
